The F-16s are taking part in Ample Strike, a Czech Republic-led exercise with aircraft and participants conducting day and night time operations out of the Czech Republic to improve NATO allies and partner nation interoperability.

The Ample Strike 2018 started on August 31 and will run until September 15 in Czech Republic. The objective of the exercise is to enhance co-operation in a multinational environment and to train the personnel specialized in joint terminal attack controller duties in varying situational frameworks. 19 NATO and partner nations are involved in the exercise (Belgium, Denmark, Croatia, Canada, Estonia, Finland, Great Britain, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Lithuania, Latvia, Netherlands, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, United States of America, Sweden, Czech Republic).

Following the conclusion of AMSE 18, F-16 aircraft are scheduled to participate in the Czech Republic-hosted NATO Days in Ostrava, from Sept. 15-16. NATO Days highlights heavy military hardware, police and rescue equipment, dynamic displays of Special Forces training, flying displays and presentations of armaments, equipment and gear from individual units.
