US ANG F-16 FIGHTER JETS ARRIVE IN POLAND

US ANG F-16 Poland
US ANG F-16 fighter jets arrive in Poland.

F-16 aircraft and supporting personnel, assigned to the 115th Fighter Wing, Wisconsin Air National Guard, arrived at 31st Tactical Air Base, Poznan-Krzesiny, Poland. 

They are participating in bilateral training with the Polish Air Force during Aviation Rotation 18.5, off-station training/flying deployment, in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve.

During the rotation the U.S. Air Force and Polish air forces will conduct training focused on maintaining joint readiness while building interoperability capabilities.

Through strengthened relationships and engagements with our allies, the United States and NATO demonstrate their shared commitment to a peaceful, stable and secure Europe.

An additional squadron of ANG F-16s is currently deployed at Namest Air Base, Czech Republic, to participate in the exercise Ample Strike 2018 (More details here).
