NATO Multinational Multirole Tanker Transport Unit receives fourth A330 MRTT

Airbus A330 Multi Role Tanker Transport MRTT lands at Eindhoven AB, Netherlands.

Tuesday April 1, 2021, Eindhoven AB - After about 2 hour flight from the Spanish airport Getafe (ICAO:LEGT) (near Madrid), today the 4th Airbus A330 MRTT (registration T-057) was delivered to Eindhoven AB (NL) (ICAO:EHEH).

The new owner is the consortium "NATO Support and Procurement Agency" and the aircraft will be transferred to the VLB Eindhoven based "Multinational Multirole Tanker Transport Unit".

The Airbus A330 MRTT aircraft (or KC-30M) are registered in the Netherlands by the Royal Netherlands Air Force. MRTT stands for "Multi Role Tanker Transport" which indicates the dual role, both a tanker role and a transport role.

A total of 9 aircraft will be delivered which will be stationed at vlb Eindhoven and at the German airport Cologne-Bonn.
