On July 6-7, Leonardo participated in the Saskatchewan Air Show 2019 which took place in Moose Jaw, Canada. The Italian aerospace company has shown its Aermacchi M345 Tutor II which is the company's most modern and technologically advanced jet trainer. The aircraft is one of the candidates to replace the CT-114 Tutor of the Canadian aerobatic team "Snowbirds".
The Snowbirds play an important role in the armed force. Serving as ambassadors of the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF), they demonstrate the high level of skill, professionalism, teamwork, discipline and dedication inherent in the men and women of the RCAF and inspire the pursuit of excellence wherever they go in North America.
Previously Leonardo's Tutor II was previewed at the CANSEC fair in Ottawa (More details here).
