RNAS Yeovilton International Air Day 2018.

The annual Royal Naval Air Station (RNAS) Yeovilton International Air Day in Somerset will take place on Saturday 7 July 2018. Up to 40,000 visitors are expected to visit the Royal Navy’s premier public event at the spiritual home of the Fleet Air Arm.

RNAS Yeovilton International Air Day will demonstrate the Maritime Capability and Air Power of the Royal Navy, British Army, Royal Air Force and other NATO military forces. Several foreign air forces have confirmed their presence with powerful fighters such as the Royal Canadian Air Force CF-18 Hornet, French Navy Rafales, Royal Danish Air Force F-16 and Czech Air Force Gripen.

Alongside the magnificent five hour flying display there will also be a huge array of ground attractions, from engineering fairs to the latest defence technology exhibitions, Service displays, trade stalls and arena displays. For the thrill seekers there will be simulators, fairground rides and helicopter pleasure flights to enjoy.
