LEONARDO AIRCRAFT ON DISPLAY AT THE SINGAPORE AIRSHOW 2018

The italian aerospace company to show its latest products and technologies during the Asia’s biggest aviation show.

From 6 to 11 February, Leonardo is taking part in the Singapore Airshow, the largest aerospace show on the Asian continent, presenting its cutting-edge technologies and products in the helicopter, aeronautics and security fields.

The solutions that the Company is presenting at the show to meet the needs of Asia Pacific countries, include the ATR-72MP multirole maritime patrol aircraft, the C-27J tactical transport aircraft and the AW169, AW189 and AW139 helicopters.

Leonardo is also exhibiting at its stand (H51) the Osprey, PicoSAR and Grifo 346 radars, the IFF 428 identification system, the Skyward Infrared Search and Track IF system, the BriteCloud countermeasure system, the SAGEsystem that provides RF situational awareness, the Software Defined Radio SRT-800 and the ISTAR (Intelligence, Surveillance, Target, Acquisition and Reconnaissance) system.


The Republic of Singapore Air Force is the first “export” customer for Leonardo's M-346 trainer aircraft (also exhibited at the Airshow). Around 450 Leonardo helicopters have been ordered to date by defence, government and commercial operators in the region. These aircraft carry out naval, utility, national security, search and rescue, air ambulance and maritime patrol missions.
