MASSIVE PRESENCE OF RUSSIAN AIRCRAFT AT MAKS 2017

During MAKS, all the Russian Aerobatic Teams will be expected in the flying display as well as a large presence of combat airctaft in the ground display.

The Aerobatic Display Teams of the Russian Aerospace Forces (RAF) will be performing at the International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS-2017. This decision has been made by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

The demonstration flights carried out by famous air display teams will become a high point of the Salon. For the first time, the visitors of MAKS will have a chance to see the performance of “Russian Knights” with the new advanced Su-30SM fighter jets. A joint program by the “Russian Knights” and the “Swifts”, as well as a unique demonstration by the “Russian Falcons” will also be presented.

The event will be held from July 18 to 23, but in according to the plans of MAKS-2017 organizers, the most spectacular flight program will be presented on Sunday, July 23.

A ground static exhibition attracts intense interest of visitors. In 2017, the visitors of MAKS will have a chance to see fighter aircrafts MiG-29SMT, Su-30SM, Su-35S, a training and combat military aircraft Yak-130, a front line bomber Su-34, missile-carrier bombers Tu-160, Tu-95MS, Tu-22M3, a long-range radar detection aircraft A-50U, aircrafts An-30B, L-410UVP-E20, as well as transport helicopters Mi-8AMTS-VA, Mi-8MTV5-1, Mi-26, attack helicopters Mi-28N, Mi-35, K-52 and a trainer helicopter ANSAT-U.
