THE RUSSIAN SIXTH GENERATION FIGHTER

The commander of the Russian Air Force Viktor Bondarev has announced the sixth and seventh generation fighter development.

According to the statement, the plane of the sixth generation will be realized in the variant with and without pilot. The company Sukhoi has already presented the first projects. Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin said the Russian aircraft industry is currently in fifth-generation fighter testing and to maintain the levels reached is necessary to develop the new electronic technologies and radio arms. The information on the development of the sixth-generation fighter in Russia have been disclosed at the beginning of 2010, the new fighter should replace the T-50, currently being tested, by 2030. As for the US, the development of the sixth-generation fighter is followed by Boeing with the project F / A-XX. This program has become more intense since Russia has started the T-50 test in 2010.
