Italian Air Force aircraft to be featured at Jesolo Air Show 2026

Italian Air Force aircraft will be among the stars of the Jesolo Air Show 2026, Italy's premier aviation event this year. The Jesolo Air Show 2026 will be held on the afternoon of September 12th (rehearsals on September 11th) and will be visible from the entire coast of Jesolo, near Venice.

The first ITAF aircraft to cross the display line will be an HH-139B helicopter from the 15th Wing, which will perform a Search and Rescue demo at sea. Search and Rescue (SAR) is one of the unit's key activities, helping to save numerous lives every year.

The ITAF has also confirmed the participation of its Reparto Sperimentale Volo (RSV), with demonstrations of the unique capabilities of three aircraft that represent the excellence of the Italian aerospace industry.

The first solo demo will feature the T-346A advanced trainer jet, the aircraft chosen by Italy and many other nations to train pilots for the most advanced fighters. It will also equip the Frecce Tricolori aerobatic team starting in 2028.

This will be followed by a demo of the C-27J Spartan, the medium tactical military transport aircraft that has evolved over time to fulfill a variety of roles, including in the civil sector. This unique display will showcase the platform's exceptional maneuverability.

The RSV's participation will conclude with the powerful performance of the F-2000A Typhoon (Eurofighter), one of the most advanced fighters developed in Europe, capable of offering broad operational capabilities and unparalleled effectiveness in the air defense role.

The Italian Air Force will also participate in the Jesolo Air Show 2026 with its F-35A and F-35B fifth-generation fighters, assigned to the 6th and 32nd Wings, respectively. They represent the present and future of military aviation, combining advanced technology, exceptional performance, and unique operational capabilities. Their display promises to offer the public a high-impact spectacle, brimming with power, precision, and emotion.

The Jesolo Air Show 2026 will culminate with a display by the Italian Air Force's aerobatic team, the Frecce Tricolori, who will close the event with their famous 10-ship display, which annually captivates countless Italian and international enthusiasts.
