The French Demo Rafale will take off from Tanagra for an amazing display of its flight capabilities, and you’ll be impressed by its unique flexibility and the wonderful paint scheme prepared for this year’s air show by the French Air Force!

Athens Flying Week, Greece’s largest air show, returns for a 9th year, on 4 and 5 September, to the Tanagra Air Base – more compelling and impressive than ever before!

We promised you the strongest Athens Flying Week you’ve ever seen, and true to our word, we have secured entries that will amaze you!

Along with the Rafale, the unique Patrouille de France is arriving from Paris! The French aerobatics unit will win over the most demanding viewers with the unparalleled precision of its aerial choreographies!

The impressive Saudi Hawks aerobatic squadron is coming from Saudi Arabia! Riyadh’s “hawks” will stun you with their aerobatics, and – for the first time at Athens Flying Week – you’ll be able to admire the F-15SA and Tornado of the Royal Saudi Air Force at the static air show!

Athens Flying Week 2021 wouldn’t be complete without the Danes and their impressive F-16 Display, as well as the Poles with the F-16 Tiger!

The surprises are endless! In the largest static air show in recent years, you will also see the unique Typhoon Eurofighter and Tornado of the German Air Force, as well as the Belgian C-130 with its new and impressive artwork!

Like every year, at this year’s Air Show you will enjoy all of the aircraft of the Greek Armed Forces! The F-16 Zeus and T-6A TEXAN II Daedalus demo teams, and of course the Greek Supermarine Spitfire in an astounding display of its capabilities, the Hellenic Air Force’s Tencam P-2002JF, F-4E Phantom II, Mirage 2000-5, AS 332 C1 Super Puma, PZL M18 Dromader, Canadair CL-215GR and CL-415, the Hellenic Navy’s S70B Aegean Hawk, AB 212 ASW, and P-3 Orion, and the Hellenic Army’s UH-1H Huey, CH-47D Chinook, AH-64A+D Apache, NH-90 and OH-58D Kiowa Warrior! Athens Flying Week wouldn’t be complete without the Hellenic Fire Service’s Super Puma and BK-117!

And we mustn’t forget our civilian entries! The RC KAVALA Acro Team, Martin Graef of Aerobatic Eagle from Austria, champion Luca Bertossio with Glider and Luca Salvadori of Silver Chicken from Italy, as well as the participation of the Athens Gliding Club!
