F-16 crashes Shaw Air Base
USAF F-16CM Fighting Falcon assigned to the 20th Fighter Wing crashes at Shaw Air Force Base.

A U.S. Air Force F-16CM Fighting Falcon assigned to the 20th Fighter Wing, Shaw Air Force Base, S.C. crashed at approximately 2330 yesterday, June 30, 2020, at Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina.

The Air Force says that at the time of the accident, the aircraft was on a routine training mission.

Shaw Air Force Base emergency responders immediately arrived on the scene, but the sadly news is that the pilot did not survive. The cause of the crash is unknown at this time.
