THE SPECIAL, HIGHLY PRIZED ITALIAN TORNADO IS READY FOR RIAT 17

The Italian Air Force Reparto Sperimentale Volo (Flight Test Unit) will display the special painted fighter jet during the coming RIAT 17.

The Italian Tornado that has thrilled the english audiences during the recent Cosford Air Show will return to UK to take part at the Royal International Air Tattoo RIAT 2017.

The Italian Air Force confirmed to send an A-200 Tornado, a M-346 Master and a C-27J Spartan at the largest european air show.

The Tornado serialled CSX 7041 will be adorned in a special black-white-red paint scheme, it was unveiled last year during the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the 311° Gruppo at Pratica di Mare AB, Rome.

The news has created a clamor among aviation enthusiasts who are so eager to take photos of the special aircraft. It already received the award for 'Best Presented Aircraft' at the Cosford Air Show - The colour scheme on their A-200 Tornado was fantastic and we are extremely grateful to the whole delegation who attended the Air Show – The organization said.

The aircraft, after its official presentation on October 2016, has became quite famous: the well-known brand Italeri immediately produced scale models of the fighter jet.

At the end of the display season the aircraft will receive the standard gray color again.
