LIBYAN AIR FORCE MIG-23 CRASHED, BOTH PILOTS KILLED
Libyan MiG-23 crashed under unknown circumstances. Both pilots died in the crash.

According to The Libya Observer a MIG-23 fighter aircraft crashed in Tarhouna city, 88km southeast of Tripoli, the two pilots were killed. It was the last operational MiG-23UB.
The Media Office of Tarhouna Municipality said the military aircraft crashed in Dawoon district.
The causes of the accident have not been made known, the aircraft was on a training flight before losing radio contact.
Investigations have been started immediately to understand what happened.
The MiG-23 has never demonstrated a particularly reliable aircraft, for this reason many air forces have abandoned the aircraft before the end of the operating life.
