REAL THAW 2016 EXERCISE
From February 21 to March 4 will take part at Beja air base, in Portugal, the Real Thaw 2016 exercise.

5x Alpha Jet, 1x C-130, 1x C-295, 1x EH-101, 12x F-16, 1x P-3C, 2x SA-316B
Foreign armed forces
1x C-130H BAF, 1x E-3A Nato, 1x C-212 SpAF, 2x C-130 USAF, 5x F-15 USAF, 2x MV-22 USAF, 4x AS-550C RDAF
The Real Thaw is an annual military exercise organized and hosted by the Portuguese Air Force (PoAF) with the participation of forces from national Army and Navy and foreign military forces.
The exercise has the objective of creating a realistic as possible operational environment in which Portuguese forces might participate, provide joint training with both land, air and naval forces, and provide interoperability between different countries.
