The Reparto Sperimentale Volo (Flight Test Unit) of the Italian Air Force will perform a stunning flying display of the special painted fighter jet during the coming RIAT 17.

The Italian Tornado that has thrilled english audiences at the Cosford Air Show a month ago will return to UK to attend Royal International Air Tattoo RIAT 2017.

The Italian Air Force has confirmed that it will be send an A-200 Tornado, a M-346 Master and a C-27J Spartan to the largest european air show.

The Tornado serialled CSX 7041 will be adorned in a special black-white-red paint scheme, unveiled last year in Italy, to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the 311° Gruppo.

The notice of the partecipation of the special painted italian fighter has created a real buzz amongst the enthusiast community.

It already received the award for 'Best Presented Aircraft' at the Cosford Air Show - The colour scheme on their A-200 Tornado was fantastic and we are extremely grateful to the whole delegation who attended the Air Show – The organization said.

The aircraft, after its official presentation on October 2016, has became quite famous: the well-known brand Italeri immediately produced scale models of the fighter jet.

At the end of the acrobatic season the aircraft will receive the standard gray color again.
