TRAVIS AIR FORCE BASE AIR SHOW 2017

The home base of USAF giants aircraft will open the doors to the public for a two-days air show. Thunderbirds will be there.

The Travis Air Force Base Air Show is a two day event taking place on Saturday May 6 and Sunday May 7.  Travis AFB is a USAF air base under the operational control of the Air Mobility Command (AMC), home of the 60th Air Mobility Wing. The 60th AMW is the largest wing in the Air Force's Air Mobility Command, with a versatile fleet of C-5 Galaxies, KC-10 Extenders and C-17 Globemaster III aircraft.

On both days, all static displays will be accessible and the dynamic displays will be the same.

During the flying display the home based aircraft (C-17, C-5, KC-10) will perform a flypast and the Thunderbirds aerobatic team will close the show with a fantastic performance.
